Organizational Coaching

When the system changes, everyone in it changes.

Organizations are more than a collection of individuals. Every team and company develops its own patterns: how decisions get made, how conflict is handled, who speaks and who stays quiet, and what goes unsaid. When those patterns stop serving the group, coaching one person at a time rarely solves the problem.

At MindWell Consulting, the organization itself is the client. Drawing on more than 20 years of clinical experience with groups and interpersonal dynamics, Julie Altman Wolff, MS, LCPC, helps leadership teams and organizations see the dynamics shaping their culture and shift them from within.

What this work can address

  • Recurring conflict, tension, or communication breakdowns between team members or departments
  • Leadership teams that struggle to align, decide, or trust one another
  • Cultural strain during growth, restructuring, or transition
  • Burnout, disengagement, or emotional reactivity within a team
  • Roles, boundaries, and expectations that have become unclear or unspoken

How it works

Engagements begin with a close look at how your system operates: its structure, its relationships, and the patterns that keep it stuck. From there, Julie works with the group as a whole to build shared awareness, strengthen communication, and put in place practices that support lasting change. Where helpful, she incorporates her group curriculums, which are designed to bring members together as a cohesive, emotionally regulated community.

Why it’s different

Julie combines the depth of a licensed psychotherapist with the practical focus of a coach. Her training in trauma, attachment, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy shapes an approach that keeps hard conversations productive and helps groups stay steady under pressure.
